I love scrolling through Kickstarter every now and again and checking out the creative projects on there. Do you ever do that too? Even though you may come across some weird ones (like the guy who raised over $50,000 to make potato salad) there are some really well designed products and inspiring ideas on there. Here are a few of my favorite recently funded and current campaigns.
Minka Inhouse creates gorgeous home goods out of Santiago, Chile. They are committed to paying their workers fair wages while creating stunning products that display their culture.
Blogger and chef Anna Waston Carl is creating a cookbook that I cannot wait to get my hands on. She created 100 sure to be delicious recipes in 8 months for The Yellow Table Cookbook.
The Fairmount Living Tiles are DIY garden kits that are perfect for city dwellers. They can be placed on a patio, balcony, or even a roof and contain everything you need (minus the seeds) to have your own little garden.
If you love tech gadgets then you’re going to want to splurge and back this project. The Coolest is a retro-inpsired cooler that has a waterproof Bluetooth speaker, rechargeable blender, and USB charger on it. It also does a ton of other things making it pretty much the coolest cooler around.
