Printable Thanksgiving Place Cards, Menus and Food Signs

Now that it’s officially November 1st, Thanksgiving is on my mind!

If you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year you can get a head start on your to-do list and create your own modern menu cards, place cards and food signs. I’ve partnered with Avery to give you everything you need to make your dinner look picture perfect (even if you end up picking up a ready-made-meal from grocery store). Keep reading below to learn how to make your custom Thanksgiving printables.

Customizable Modern Thanksgiving Printables

Supplies

Menu download for Avery Design & Print Online
Place card download for Avery Design & Print Online
Avery menu cards (80505)
Avery place cards (5011)
Inkjet or laser printer

Directions

  1. Log into your Avery account. Select your Avery product (either 80505 or 5011).
  2. Upload the design you downloaded from the link above.
  3. Customize your design using Avery Design & Print Online on your Mac, PC, or tablet.
  4. Print your project! I recommend doing a low quality test print on regular copy paper before printing on the menu or place card paper to ensure alignment, font size and colors. Then make any adjustments and print on the Avery product. I use an inkjet printer and get the best results when I select “matte photo paper” and “high quality.”

Thanksgiving doesn’t have to be all orange and brown. These simple geometric printables add a pop of unexpected color to your holiday table. If you’re not wanting to use them as menu cards, you can also repurpose them as invitations or notecards. Simple leave a little mini pencil at each place setting to allow guests to write down a few things they are thankful for.

The place cards can also be used as food signage—perfect for a Thanksgiving buffet. Whether you’re planning on spending all day in the kitchen or simply hosting a potluck, having a small sign in front of every dish makes it helpful for guests. They are also helpful when placed next to specific dished to identify dietary restrictions or food allergies.

This is so cute! However the download links don’t work for me :( it’s not downloading as a zip file but rather an “avery” file which pdf nor word could read. Could you kindly fix it please? Thank you!

Hi Lily, since I partnered with Avery to create these downloads, the designs are only available as .avery files. To open them, head to Avery.com and open them using the free Design & Print Online software. It’s really easy to use and I’ve provided directions above. Thanks!
