We’re teaming up with our pals at Black Mountain Yarn Shop to make progress on our projects and have some fun along the way!
Here’s how to play:
- Download our Summer of Grandma Hobbies WIPGO mini board, print a copy for yourself and one for your Granny Hobby loving bestie!
- Choose eight Granny Hobby WIPs you’d like to make progress on or eight Granny Hobby Skills you’d like to learn this summer + assign those projects a number between 1-8.
- Write those numbers in your squares randomly, leaving the middle square blank – it’s a freebie!!
- Make sure you are following @sarahhearts + @blackmountainyarnshop – where we’ll share each week’s WIPGO number on Fridays starting 6/26!
- Kick off your summer weekends with a little nudge to pick up that lingering WIP and get to work! Use #summerofgrandmahobbies or tag @sarahhearts + @blackmountainyarnshop to share your progress along the way
- Our last WIPGO number will be called on Friday 8/14 with completed WIPGO boards due Friday 8/21.
- To enter your completed board in our Hot Girl Prize Drawing comment “Finished!” on our final #summerofgrandmahobbies post + share a photo of your finished WIPGO board in stories!
- Entry submissions close Monday 8/24 at 9am.

This Summer of Grandma Hobbies WIPGO is such a fun idea!
