Here’s a super simple, kid-friendly craft that will definitely brighten up your home. All you need is a few supplies (many of which you may already have on hand) and a wooden container. I picked up the one above in the Target dollar section a couple weeks ago. In less than an hour you’ll have your very own spring planter that’s ready for Cinco de Mayo and a cute little succulent.

DIY Tissue Paper Planter Box | Sarah Hearts1. You’ll need a wooden box, Mod Podge (I prefer the matte finish), a foam brush, and tissue paper cut into 1″ squares in whatever colors your heart desires.  2. Paint a coat of Mod Podge on one side of the container.  3. Layer on the tissue paper squares.  4. Add another layer of Mod Podge on top.  5. Add more tissue paper squares and finish with a coat of Mod Podge and allow to dry completely.
