DIY Bar Bottle Labels

DIY Bar Bottle Labels | Sarah Hearts

Last week the lovely Chelsea from Lovely Indeed (yes, she’s a lovely as her blog implies) shared her DIY bar bottle labels that she made using gold vinyl and her Silhouette. I was absolutely smitten by them so I had to make my own. I headed over to Ikea and picked up 4 bottles for $3.99 a piece. I used some black adhesive vinyl I had on hand and whipped up this fancy labels in no time. I cheated on the flourishes and used the glyphs from the Trend font family to create the rod iron scrolling shapes.  I left one label blank so I can write in its contents with a chalkboard marker.

I love how much more stylish the top of our bar unit looks now. Thanks Chelsea for the great inspiration!

P.S. Kevin and I are heading to Charlotte this weekend for my dear friend Katie’s wedding. Be sure to follow along on our adventure on Instagram. The wedding is sure to be lovely—Katie is a display coordinator for Anthropologie and a talented artist!

This is so adorable!!! Love the inspiration; makes a boring bottle into a cool statement piece. Can you please tell me which Silhouette you own? After seeing this I am seriously considering buying one. Thanks

I love this. Such a fun way to spice up a bottle and it adds class. I also love this bar/cabinet idea. Where did you get the cabinet from? It is so perfect for a bar!

The bar cabinet is from West Elm. Unfortunately since we bought it nearly 5 years ago it’s no longer available.

Hi Lauren, I made the cut file myself using the flourishes from the font Trend Ornaments to create the scrolling shapes around a solid rectangle. I merged them into one shape and then removed the text.
