Over the past year or so I’ve been noticing that more and more restaurants are serving their food on baking sheets. And every time I’m eating at one of those restaurants I always mention to Kevin that I think we should get some to use as food trays. So after spotting them here for less than $3 each I decided to order a bunch! Plus Webstaurant offer bulk discounts so why not get a dozen (or two or three).
The eighth sheet pan size is around 6″ x 10″ and is perfect for serving a burger and fries, appetizers and small bites, or even desserts. And if you’re wanting a bit more room, you can use quarter sheet pans too. Just put a sheet of parchment paper down and you have super easy clean up.
They’ve also come in handy to actually use as baking sheets when I’ve wanted to cook just a single portion. I really love kitchen items that do double duty. These little trays are now in heavy rotation in our home and I just can’t wait to use them at our next dinner party.
