I’m kinda a stationery horder and not a very good stationery sender. I’m just a sucker for pretty patterns and when I spy a cute set of notecards I just have to have them. Which in turn means the container of stationery in my office is stuffed to the brim with unused cards. So I’m trying to break myself of the habit of not using them and put all those pretty cards to use and into the mail.
Rather than wait around for a holiday or even after my birthday I decided to create some cute notes to send to friends to let them know how awesome they are. Because what’s better than sending someone some happy mail? I mean, everyone loves getting something other than a bill in the mail. I created these bold black and white cards on Shutterfly. There are several designs to choose from but you all know I’m a sucker for polka dots and stripes. In just a few clicks I was able to type in my own phrases and customize a set of notecards that are perfect for sending surprise notes to rad friends.
To make the notes even more special, I’m sending a few with an instant photos paper clipped to them and an envelope full of confetti. Now the hardest part is just choosing which of the four cards to send to my friends!
This post was created in partnership with Shutterfly. Thanks so much for supporting the brands that keep this blog going!
I never thought to use Shutterfly for some cute thank you cards. I’ll have to keep that in mind for the future! Especially at the end of a school year when I send a lot of thank you cards home with my students. :)
