Spring is coming and I cannot wait! I made my first spring dress with a fun, flowy rayon from @stylemakerfabrics’s spring launch. There are so many gorgeous florals, it was hard to just choose one! I’ve had my eye on the #celestiadress from @papercutpatterns (up to a 63.7” hip) for a while and was just waiting for the right fabric to make it. I cannot wait for warmer weather to wear it! This is view B with 1” taken off the bottom 2 tiers since I’m 5’3” plus I had to shorten the center back tie about 10” so it wouldn’t have a huge gap in the back tie. #sarahheartssews #babylockambassador #sewingreels #millenialsewing #isewmyownclothes #gifted

Story time! In college (over 15 years ago!) I worked at an art supply store. My manager often gave the returned or damaged items to employees, since we were mostly broke art students. Someone returned a set of @pantone swatches and they couldn’t resold since they were open box so she gave them to me—and those are the swatches I’ve been using for work ever since. Guess it was finally time purchase a new set for my business? 😬 . #pantoneuniverse #sarahheartslabels
